| The review presents the results of the international roundtable conference “Literary Biographies: Poetics, Problems and Trends,” which took place on November 26, 2025. The meeting was organized by National Research Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod and Istanbul University. Scientists from two research centers noted significant interest in the genre of biography of a famous person. Modern versions of biographical narratives are aimed at different groups of readers. The meeting participants discussed the problems that arise when writing biographies and the problems of forming a biographical canon. Also, A.V. Korovashko presented a book that was published in 2025 – the first biography of A. Vampilov that combines a writer's life story with an analysis of his works. |
