The subject area of the humorous rhyme (chastushka) is broad, although its lyrical content is rather limited to the love relationships of young people during the pre-marriage period. The characters of the humorous rhyme are shown in the context of real life. The combination of everyday context and lyrical theme has not been examined in folklore studies yet. The article focuses on the immediate surroundings of the characters, namely their home. In a humorous rhyme, home is used to characterize the character (the guy's house), and its components are used as a place and means of communication between the character and the outside world (the girl's house). In this case, only those parts of the house that provide contact with the outside world, such as windows, porches, and gates, are included in the semantic part of the humorous rhyme. In a one-part humorous rhyme, traditional folklore situations predominate (sitting by the window, looking out the window, going out / coming in through the window, going out on the porch, etc.), processed according to the specifics of the genre. The two-part structure of the humorous rhyme, the presence of an introduction related to the semantic part formally, associatively or only structurally, allow for the expansion of the subject range. The introduction reflects certain elements of the interior and exterior of the house, household activities, landscapes, and more. Despite the thematic differences between the parts, the humorous rhyme text always represents a cohesive artistic whole. The parts are united by a common emotional tone set by the introduction. The emotional relationships between the couplets are diverse, examining them helps to understand the nature of lyricism in the genre and deserves further research.
