Abstract
The article analyzes the reception of A.S. Pushkin's works in Sasha Cherny's satirical poetry of 1925. The study is conducted in the context of the formation of Pushkin studies within the Russian diaspora, a process catalyzed by the establishment of the Day of Russian Culture on June 8, 1925. The aim of the work is to identify the specifics and functions of the Pushkinian intertext in Sasha Cherny's ?migr? satires. Using the poems "Political Sonnet" and "Until Demyan Is Summoned" as material, the author demonstrates how, through allusions to Pushkin's works ("Sonnet," "Poet," «Pir vo vremya chumy»), the satirist reflects the realities of the 1920s. Pushkin's text is perceived as a benchmark of high culture, opposed to spiritual degradation and the opportunistic "demyanization" of literature. At the same time, the satirical play with Pushkin's quotes becomes a powerful tool of political satire, interrogating the moral maladies of both Soviet and ?migr? society. The conclusion is drawn that the dialogue with Pushkin allowed Sasha Cherny to speak the truth about the pivotal era of the 20th century while remaining faithful to timeless ideals.
